Accountability and Control System, How to Control the Policy Implementation that may Occur Hazards and also Accountability in the Process of Policy Implementation Best efforts to overcome forest and land fire through preventing before it occurs, minimizing the impact, and minimizing forest and land fire extension area. According to Ministry for National and Development Planning, there are three things that need to be done first to prevent forest fires and land. First, reviewing the business permits that have been issued by the Government for forestry and plantation; second enforcing on business compliance with regulations and policies related to efforts to control land and forest fire; and third the need for an early warning system (EWS) in the prevention and control of forest and land fire. Early Warning System (EWS) on prevention and control of forest and land fire is a system that contains information about the potential or predictions related to land and forest fires in one location at a certain time. This system has been developed by various agencies with a variety of methods. But the most important thing and should be encouraged is the implementation of the use of such information at the site level by local governments and communities. Each of ministry and agency independently has made efforts to control forest and land fires in accordance with the duties and functions as ministry or technical institutions.
